Hi Geoff,

I was speaking with colleagues over lunch today about a chemist who's been approached by DE Shaw, a hedge fund in NYC that seems to be actively recruiting economists, mathematicians, and now, perhaps, chemists! So maybe there's hope for reformation for all us academics.

BTW loved your attitude adjustment for PhD's. I might have to frame it.
